How To Wash & Go

This is the easy way to do a wash & go. The products I like to use are:

1) Rucker Roots, shampoo and conditioner.
2) A wide tooth comb.
3) A Denman B bop brush.

4) Snappee™ Hair Ties

First things first, you want to detangle your hair.

So you're just getting in the shower, you're putting the water through your hair, you're making sure that it is getting all through every single spot of your hair.

Now grab the shampoo put in about two tablespoons or more into your hair.

I like to really make sure I get a good cleanse because that's what wash day is all about.

Now work the shampoo through your hair, all the way from the scalp to the ends.

Rinse out all the shampoo.

Now put the Rucker Roots conditioner in your hair.

The thing I really like about this conditioner is it says detangling conditioner on it and it's true, it does give you a lot of slip.

It's also made with no mineral oils and it has turnip, carrot and ginger oils in it.

Now part your hair in three sections and then I use a Snappee™ Hair Tie to hold your hair up in the meantime.

Then take the sectioned part of your hair and part it again into another small section.

That way you can actually detangle and it's not going to pull out too much of your hair.

Take the wide tooth comb and I run it through your hair first because it gets most of the knots out.

Start at the bottom and then work your way up as your hair starts to untangle.

The key thing is to hold your hair at the top and then pull the brush down and through just so that you're not pulling out too much of your hair.

Then take the BeBop Denman brush and start detangling that from the bottom to the top.

The reason you do this one last is that the bristles are a lot closer.

It's a lot smaller.

So it gets the smaller tangles out.

After that put your hair in a two strand twist and I twist it all the way to the bottom.

The first section is now done.

Next, move on to section two and repeat all throughout your hair.

Once you're done, take out the two strand twist and then spritz your hair with water to make sure that it's very, very damped before you add any product to it.

I'm using the Deva Curl line both the Supercream and Gel.

Put the Supercream on your hand and work it through your hair.

Slide it downwards and I make sure that it gets all throughout your hair.

Finally, work the gel into your hair by squeezing it into your strands.

This is a great method for getting product to get into the follicles of the hair and to make sure that it gets all over.

Finally put your hair into a bun using your Snappee Hair Tie!

Once your done that with every section of your hair!
