My name is Keziah Dhamma, and I’m the author of The SwirlyCurly Method. I don’t think there is anyone on this planet who is obsessed with curly natural hair like I am.

Over 10 years ago, I began my journey as a curly natural, but it wasn’t easy.

I had realized I couldn’t continue forever on relaxers, weaves, flat irons, and extensions.

But my hair was brittle, broken, and damaged.

No matter what I tried, I could never achieve healthy hair.

In fact, my go-to hairstyle was a bun because that’s how I could hide my bad hair without having to constantly wear scarves and hats.

I knew I couldn’t go on like this.

I had to figure out how to do things differently. I had to be smarter with my hair.

Ten Years and Hundreds of Tests Later …

Yesss, that was 10 years ago.

During that time, I almost considered giving up on my natural curls.

I had tried everything.

If someone said “this” would get me better curls, I plunked down my wallet, and tried it.

Most of the things I tried didn’t work …

But a few of the things, the “REAL SECRETS” that did work, started to compound on each other.

Each new secret would help me finally get hair that wouldn’t break or look awful.

What seemed impossible before (getting my dream hair), was now a reality.

Because of the curly hair secrets I’ve done on my mane, I currently enjoy hair that is manageable and absolutely beautiful!

And while my hair looks a thousand times better, it’s just one of the many joys. Because my hair is healthy now, I spend less than one hour washing my hair each week.

I enjoy 5-minute hair refresh mornings. I don’t have to do much, other than wake up, refresh, and choose an outfit.

I also enjoy saving money. Now that I’ve simplified my products, I don’t have to try out a bunch of new stuff, only to have them sit half-empty in my closet.

But it’s not just about saving time, energy, and money …

I actually love the image I see in the mirror!

Since uncovering these secret methods and truths, I have also gone on to create one of the most popular hair brands in the world, SwirlyCurly.

I started SwirlyCurly from my studio apartment in Hollywood, where I was struggling badly with my natural hair.

One day, I thought, “If I had a hair tie that was adjustable that could snap on and off, AND stop breaking my hair … it would be amazing.”

And then before you know it, I’m making these exact products and selling them online.

I have been wearing a wig for a protective covering. I washed my hair with Mango Shampoo and really liked how clean my scalp felt and the smell was very nice. I used the conditioner and rinsed it out. Then I used the styling cream and gel which I felt that I needed the extra moisture and shine from the gel. I am going to use this product for at least 6 months to see if I can get my edges to grow thicker. I will continue to wear a wig or some alternate style. I have low porosity, low density, and fine hair and definitely a 4C. I will begin to take the collagen and do the green tea rinse every three months.
